Founder

Kellie Floto believes that every child should be celebrated, no matter their circumstances. As a mother of three, she has always loved putting together birthday parties for her daughters, and watching their pure joy and child-like wonder as they blow out their candles and make a wish. Eager to give back to the community and make a lasting impact on today's youth, she founded Operation Birthday Bash, to bring those moments of love and happiness to others.

As President & Founder, she recognizes the life-altering power of birthday bashes in reminding children they do matter and to dream big. Cake may not change the world, but it sure makes life more sweet.

Every child may not have a home, but every child has a birthday. We create memorable moments and magical experiences for children living in homeless shelters and transitional living facilities, one birthday bash or birthday box at a time.

Overview

Operation Birthday Bash is a 501(c)(3), with all funds going directly to the cause and operated entirely by volunteers. We celebrate every child that has a birthday while staying at a shelter or transitional living facility. Our services include hosting a birthday bash, or providing a themed birthday box so the parent or caregiver can host their own bash.

Our bashes and boxes are a chance for children to create new memories and experience the joy of being a child. These are much more than a celebration – they are a powerful statement that everyone matters.
